When I was growing up, I got a false sense of likelihood about child abduction and attacks. With all the TV shows and PSAs that warned about it, I figured every one in my school would be kidnapped or assaulted at one point or another.

I’m not saying education isn’t important. My parents tended to raise me on a protect and prepare basis, keeping me out of harm but also teaching me how to avoid and/or deal with dangerous situations myself.

So, if you were thinking of teaching your kid some self-defense basics in addition to situational awareness, I’ve taken this hokey vintage British jiu-jitsu self-defense film and NINJA-FIED it by adding classic Japanese fight movie sound effects, because DUH!
