I want my boys to abide by a few strict rules. I’m not even going to go into what they are, because they’re totally immaterial when applied to your life, and they’re only strict because I want them to be happy adults. I hope they follow them. But you know what? It’s up to them. It’s totally out of my hands.

But this dad wants to get a solid commitment on something WAY before it’s even an issue. If it ever becomes one. And frankly, her response tells me she’s going to be just fine, no matter what course her life takes, because she has a mind of her own.

The bottom line is this dad isn’t going to get what he wants, no matter what. Hilarious. The window shopping approach.
