The Coolest Museum Ever
I want my kids to love and admire art. It’s an important mission of mine as a father because art teaches us so much about ourselves and the world. In that effort, I’ve tried to expose my boys to as many kinds of art as I can. Sometimes these trips impinge and sometimes my kids walk around like boredom is some kind of debilitating illness.
Ultimately, we live in an era where media can be created more easily than ever and that is a huge responsibility. So much is possible, now more than ever and the messages we project or consume can change our worldview. We can change the minds of the world this way. But what does it take to get our kids involved in this movement? I think this particular museum might just be the answer we’ve been looking for, integrating interactivity and graphic art.
Following this important movement, I’ve recently become aware of a charity aptly titled PS Arts. They help provide under-served kids across California with access to arts materials and teachers. If you’ve ever seen a child light up inside when they’re presented with tools to make their own art, you know how important this cause is for the future. Please support them, and this museum, any way you can.
