Something I’ve never told people before… I’ve always wanted to be a pop star. Big time. Like Justin Bieber without all the doucheness. Usher without any of the dance moves. Justin Timberlake without the… um… something. There are so few pop stars to look up to these days and it’s hard to get inspired to continue my solo artist career.

Well, this little girl, Addy, kicks all the ass. She was diagnosed last year with Stage IV cancer. In the midst of all the treatments she practiced her moves and worked on her pipes. Then, the Make-A-Wish Foundation rocked out and helped her become the star of her own music video…

She beat cancer and now she’s celebrating. Awesome.

Honestly, when I saw Katy Perry’s video for her song “Roar” I was super confused and let down. It’s an anthem with lots of potential as a video. But Addy just made the video that should’ve been done.

So, Katy Perry, you better give some props here because she totally saved your ass on this one. And managed to roar in the face of cancer while doing so.
