I love when people come to this site for the first time. I wonder what they’re expecting when they step foot on the Dagobah-like grounds of HTBAD. What were they looking for exactly? How did they find us? Did they think we could help?

If anything is certain, it’s that nothing is certain in parenting. Which is why many of us grab on so tightly to the vaporous mist of certainty. In the absence of an obsessiveness over doing it right, there is fun. There is enjoyment. We can make our time count.
