A Dad Turns Toddler Quotes into Amazing Pop Art
Anyone with kids above a certain speaking age has had their eyebrows raised into orbit when their kid starts saying… monumentally strange things. They can be weird, razor honest, sweet, embarrassing, wise, and often also hilarious.
Martin Bruckner, art director and father of a 3-year-old daughter named Harper, decided to take some of these strange exchanges with his daughter and turn them into pop art creations in a series called “Spaghetti Toes.” The oddly perfect name came from his wife saying, “Please don’t put spaghetti between your toes,” to his daughter at the dinner table. Fitting for the random and quirky toddler talk it showcases.
I must admit I am completely fallen-and-can’t-get-up in love with the project and he has my deep respect as designer. Enjoy!
