When Pixar Goes Dark
I’ve always been a fan of Pixar. I was 14 years-old when Toy Story came out. I was a little unsure that I’d want to watch it, since it seemed like a children’s program and I was trying to so hard to act like an adult. Teenagers almost always mistake adulthood and seriousness. But when I saw it, I was pretty floored.
Watching this video, I’m similarly floored. Not at how far digital animation has come, though that could easily be so, but at something indescribable and human about this short film titled “Borrowed Time” made by Pixar animators on their off-time.
Give a watch, probably without your kids nearby. This ain’t your kids’ movie.

Stunning. Heartbreaking. Human.
